Vehicle Testing Specialist

HireArt is helping our client hire a Vehicle Testing Specialist to be responsible for daily testing activities for its autonomous vehicle programs. In this role, you will execute test plans, support a wide range of testing functions, and report on testing outcomes to provide crucial information for the software development teams. As a Vehicle Testing Specialist, you'll: • Execute test plans on AV and ADAS development vehicles. • Coordinate and improve testing procedures together with SW engineers and operations teams. • Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results. • Work with the vehicle operators to conduct testing professionally and efficiently. • Be a safety champion for the vehicle testing programs. • 2+ years of hardware or software testing, data entry, or similar technical experience • Experience with troubleshooting issues on computers or other hardware • Must be extremely detail-oriented • A collaborative mindset and deep interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy software Nice-to-Have: • Experience in the following: • Software development practices • Linux • Software tools/services like Slack, Jira, and Confluence • Google Workspace • Prior experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or other automotive work Benefits: • Pre-tax commuter benefits • Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs • HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance • 401k package Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt.
