Sr. Robotics Systems Integration Engineer

Position: Sr. Robotics Systems Integration Engineer Location: Arlington, Virginia Role: On-site. Travel expected 10-50% Relocation: Not offering relocation Visa: Not considering visas Sr. Robotics Systems Integration Engineer - Construction As a Sr. Robotics Systems Integration Engineer, you’ll lead the effort to bring together software, hardware, and networking into a seamless robotics stack that works reliably on active project sites. Responsibilities: • Lead the systems integration efforts to integrate software and hardware subsystems including both off-the-shelf and in-house developed components • Integrate software and hardware subsystems into robust, field-ready solutions. • Advance reliability across autonomy, perception, localization, and navigation. • Support the development of the overall robotics software stack including the autonomy, perception, localization, and navigation subsystems. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners. • Support field testing and feedback loops on active sites. Requirements: • Bachelor’s in robotics, computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field. • 2 years of experience in a similar role minimum. • Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS 2. • Experience in the Construction industry is required, or similar. No minimum time needed. • Familiarity with communications protocols and peripherals (e.g., RS232/422/485, CAN, TCP/IP). • Experience deploying robotic systems in challenging environments. • Familiarity with sensors, drivers, networking, and containerization (Docker). • Simulation experience is nice to have (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Unity). • NVIDIA Jetson development is nice to have. • Hardware integration experience is nice to have.
