Job Description

Senior Software Engineer, Cloud

Bangalore

As a member of our technical staff, you will write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly. You will develop a web ecosystem that drives the business and meets the functional needs of our customers and partners. You are expected to optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale. Maintain high coding standards and collaboration

You will report to Sr Manager, Cloud Engineering and work Hybrid in Bangalore

§ 02

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and extend SaaS app Portal Uis
  • Work with API team to identify, design, evolve and maintain APIs required by UI layer.
  • Develop features with an eye towards long-term evolution and maintainability.
  • Develop loosely coupled, testable features that are scalable and performant.
  • Develop reusable component libraries that can be utlized by a diverse set of products hosted on the SaaS platform.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and testable code used in applications
  • Maintain documentation for architecture and source code
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams
  • Work with product managers, team members, and QA
  • Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system problems and customer issue

THE ESSENTIALS - YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience using Angular, React, or Vue JavaScript frameworks and state management fundamentals (Angular)
  • Experience building reactive front end apps with frameworks like RXJS and primitives like async/await, Promises or similar.
  • Experience with one or more state management libraries - ngrx or otherwise.
  • Modern JS ecosystem and tooling - TypeScript, NPM, Webpack, Angular, bundling, minification, and optimization
  • Build, publishing and versioning UI component libraries.
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol and REST Api integration.
  • Experience with front end best JS best practices for performance optimization.
  • Experience with different design patterns commonly used to build modern front end applications like MVC/MVVM and associated tradeoffs.
  • Experience as a craftsperson who cares deeply about UI, user experience and code quality.
  • Experience with unit tests, integration tests, continuous integration systems deployment, and operations automation.
  • Experience working with backend frameworks like dotnet core/NodeJS

THE PREFERRED - YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

  • 8+ years of experience building single-page applications using HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and Javascript
  • Experience building responsive web apps
  • Experience building progressive web apps
  • Experience with Internationalization and localization best practices
  • Experience in end-to-end product building, experimental mindset and are not afraid to try new things.
  • Front end performance optimization
  • Having experience in understanding what "this" is, and you have an opinion about whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.
