Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities across Rockwell Automation businesses and regions. You will be part of the Global Analytics & Insights organization and will partner with business and functional teams to provide insights that support decision-making and business performance. You will use EPM Cloud, SAP, and other financial systems to deliver meaningful analysis and reporting while driving automation, simplification, and process standardization initiatives. You will follow a hybrid work model with office in Katowice and report directly to the FP&A Team Leader.

§ 02YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Present and explain financial performance and key variances and changes vs. forecast, plan and prior year.
  • Provide value-added advice and analysis supporting decisions which need to be made to meet operational and financial goals.
  • Provide risk and opportunity assessment of financial performance to forecast and budget on ongoing bases.
  • Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance.
  • Develop financial plans utilizing business partner input and leveraging standard tools and processes to enable clear explanations for financial performance in a particular region, function or business.
  • Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting.
§ 03THE ESSENTIALS - YOU WILL HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of FP&A (Controlling) experience and 5 years of overall finance or related business experience..
  • Fluency in English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
§ 04THE PREFERRED - YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
  • Experience interpreting financial results and develop meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Process improvement mindset with a passion for automation and simplification.
  • Strong ownership and ability to independently drive issues to resolution.
  • Experience using financial systems such as SAP, EPM Cloud, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn the business and continuously improve processes.
