Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design and development of complex robotic systems. Conceptualize, design, and analyze robotic components and mechanisms using CAD and FEA tools. Develop and validate kinematic and dynamic models for robotic systems. Oversee the prototyping, fabrication, and testing of robotic platforms and subsystems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, software, and AI. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design and integration issues. Define mechanical specifications and requirements for new robotic projects. Mentor junior mechanical engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing. Stay current with advancements in robotics, materials, and manufacturing technologies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant focus on robotics. Proven experience in the design of advanced robotic systems, manipulators, or mobile platforms. Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL). Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and mechatronics. Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes for robotic components.
