ABOUT THE ROLE:
Wing is looking for a Construction Site Launch Manager to join our Real Estate and Site Launch team. This is a remote role, based in the United States, and requires up to 50% travel. In this role, you will own the deployment of Wing Nests (drone charging and operational infrastructure) nationwide. You will execute existing deployment playbooks while independently identifying efficiency gaps and driving process optimizations. We are seeking a highly motivated, high-accountability individual who excels in fast-paced environments, holds direct budget ownership, and aligns cross-functional teams to refine and elevate our launch standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Vendor Leadership & Budget Oversight: Hold direct accountability for GC contracts and material budgets to ensure on-time, cost-effective deployments. Negotiate terms, enforce strict SLAs, and maintain audit-ready financial tracking.
- Site Execution & Sequencing: Manage field workflows from permit approval through operational handover, maintaining sequential deployment milestones across multiple concurrent sites.
- Process Optimization: Identify efficiency gaps in current playbooks, refine site launch standards, and improve operational tracking across Smartsheet, Wesco, and proprietary installation trackers.
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Reporting: Interface directly with leadership to report site progress, escalate risks, and resolve inter-team bottlenecks early.
- Team Coordination: Provide operational guidance and mentorship to field coordinators and deployment specialists to ensure consistent quality across all regions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, field operations, site deployment, or multi-site vendor management.
- Demonstrated experience managing material/GC budgets, negotiating vendor agreements, and holding contractors accountable to SLAs.
- Track record of building or optimizing deployment playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com, or equivalent relational trackers).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 36 months, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
