This role requires legal knowledge, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to drive innovation and efficiency. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with practice and business stakeholders to drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the firm. This role also involves continuous monitoring and improvement of automated systems. By staying at the forefront of legal technology trends, this role will spearhead innovative projects that significantly improve legal operations and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Engage with stakeholders to proactively identify process improvement opportunities, gather requirements, design and deliver solutions that align with customer needs. Propose solutions (including automation and use of AI); Responsible to document process change requirements using the agreed standards, methods, and tools ensuring consistent high-quality output. Responsible for the design and implementation automated solutions using Microsoft that service levels are consistently in alignment with customer experience expectations. Integrate automation solutions with existing software systems and databases. Responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications and automations, as well as the enhancement and maintenance of existing ones. Displays professionalism, quality service and a positive can do attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm. Facilities cross-functional collaboration to ensure that automation initiatives are aligned with broader firm goals. Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications and Microsoft Copilot Studio Power Apps and AI agents) Strong technical background with a focus on workflow automation and process improvement. Experience in process automation, scripting, and workflow design, and automation tools (Copilot studio: Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint, PowerBI) Strong analysis, planning, organizing and time management skills. Interest in and ability to acquire new skills and tackle challenging projects. Bachelor’s degree 3-5 years’ application design, development, and support experience. Workflow and process improvement methodology and technology solution experience strongly preferred Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
