Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

§ 02ABOUT THE TEAM

The duty of this organization is to enable our Customers’ ongoing Mission Readiness. From the moment they say '“go” until the contract is fulfilled. We are only successful when the customer's mission is successful.

Mission Readiness is the post-production shared services organization for Anduril. This team supports the Business Lines and Divisions throughout the lifecycle of their product, from initial sustainment concept through delivery, installation, operation, repair and return. These service offerings also include providing technical publications, training, customer support, connectivity services and other value-added services. To the degree the Business elects, we accept the delegated responsibility for upfront and continued delivery of the committed service solutions. This team endeavors to provide the Business Lines, as our internal customers, shared mission services that are more efficient and cost effective than if they chose to provide them directly. By offering mission support capabilities and capacity that are not “core” to the Business, the Business can focus resources on addressing the next big need while we ensure existing commitments are met.

§ 03ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Associate Director, Logistics Program Management to join our rapidly growing Deployments team in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a new management role responsible for leading a team of Logistics Program Managers and for building the central functional frameworks that define how logistics program management operates across Anduril. As the first dedicated people leader for this discipline, you will be responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining top logistics program management talent while also serving as the functional authority on logistics program management processes, tools, and standards. You will partner closely with Integrated Product Support leads, program managers, engineering, supply chain, and customer stakeholders to ensure logistics program management is executed consistently and at a high level across all programs.

We are a fast-growing company, and you will be expected to own material and important projects during your time on the team, which will have a significant impact on the company’s trajectory. Anduril fosters a diverse, collaborative culture with plenty of opportunities for ownership and professional growth.

§ 04WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Logistics Program Managers across multiple programs and business lines, including hiring, performance management, career development, and day-to-day direction.
  • Develop and institutionalize the central frameworks, processes, standards, and playbooks for how logistics program management is executed across the Deployments organization.
  • Define and enforce standards for the development and delivery of logistics CDRLs, ensuring consistency, quality, and on-time delivery across all programs.
  • Establish and maintain logistics program management tooling, templates, and reporting structures that enable visibility into program health, deliverable status, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with Integrated Product Support leads and program managers to ensure logistics program management activities are aligned with broader sustainment strategies and program milestones.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and field operations to integrate logistics program management into the broader product lifecycle.
  • Influence and coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract(s). Influence contract acquisitions, negotiations, and modifications.
  • Act as a key point of contact for logistics program management matters with internal leadership and external customer stakeholders; lead or support program review sessions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the logistics program management function by identifying gaps, implementing corrective actions, and capturing lessons learned.
  • Problem solve and remove obstacles for your team and internal and external partners. Know how to think critically and engage the right teams to help.
  • Communicate effectively to keep internal and external teams informed at all times. Use the necessary channels (Slack, email, meetings) to ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be accomplished and when.
